Reporting in to the Head of Digital you will join a busy team who are responsible for over twenty online brands, websites that are feature rich and deliver innovative cross platform functionality. As you develop into the role you will become more involved in projects for internal and external customers. You will be expected to get stuck in, existing slightly out of your technical comfort zone at all times.  As a result you will son be involved in shaping the front end design aspects of new websites and web applications, considering the UI / UX elements at all times. Very focused around the front end but not forgetting the functional elements, specifically around e-commerce and online transactions.

The ideal candidate will have around 2 years commercial programming experience in PHP. Any knowledge of the wider LAMP Stack would be preferable alongside any exposure to Wordpress, although you will be given full training in the use of Wordpress.  An IT qualification at degree, HND level would also be essential.

Position is based in Derby, accessible from the M1 and via public transport.
