This is an opportunity for an experienced Cyber Security Consultant to join the Cyber Security practice as it is poised for rapid expansion over the next 12/18months. With the planned growth of the Security Operations Center and Cyber Security consulting capabilities, they are looking for an ambitious individual to lead strategy for clients, whilst supporting the Head of Cyber Security to develop the security service offering.
The role will see you involved in Cyber Security strategy & transformation, working with clients as a virtual CISO. Engaging with C-Level stakeholders, you will scope and define a range of security requirements, helping clients on a journey to cyber security maturity across governance, risk and compliance.
There’s also the opportunity to get involved with Pre Sales, Bids/Proposals and providing high level oversight of architectural designs, using your consultative approach to nurture customer relationships.
What we’re looking for:
In depth knowledge of industry security standards (ISO27001, NIST, Cyber Essentials)
Cyber Security consultant background within enterprise organisations is preferred.
Ability to interact with senior stakeholders (to C-Level), guiding them on their requirements with a bespoke end to end service.
Previous experience within a Security Management or Technical Security position.
Experience using UK Cyber Security environment (NCSC guidance, CAF)
Experience writing formal documentation for proposals and creating governance/risk/compliance frameworks.
Good understanding of Government security requirements such as Information Assurance Standards, Good Practice Guides and PSN.
A broad understanding of information security methodologies, best practice and industry standards such as ISO27001, Cyber Essentials, PCI-DSS, COBIT, GDPR, and ITIL.
Hold at least one or more industry certifications
(CISSP, CISM, CISA, SANS GIAC, CRISC, ISO Lead Auditor or CEH)
