Have you worked in Change Management within an IT service delivery / operations environment?

As part of an enterprise wide technology and service transformation, our client is keen to revolutionise the way they deliver IT service. Responsible for supporting over 100,000 users in 75 countries, the Change Manager will be accountable for the Change Management process, policies, procedures and best practice.

Coming from a Change Management background, we are looking for an individual who has delivered change within an IT service delivery environment. With the emphasis less on technical service delivery and more focused towards the change process itself. However as much of the impact of change will be IT service delivery with awareness of ITIL and/or IT Service Operations would be advantageous.

This role will be challenging, exciting and satisfying given the extent to which our Client is looking to transform the operation.

Core aspects of the role include:

  • Formulating change management processes, policies and best practice

  • Change governance and documentation

  • Change management performance, efficiency inline with KPI’s and objectives

  • Championing Change interdepartmentally and with senior stakeholders

  • Coaching and Training Change Analysts

  • Change automation and standardisation

  • Management of all Request for Change (RFC’s) and Change Approvals

  • Chair and Manage Change meetings

  • Change scheduling and project initiation / testing / management / monitoring

  • Assessing post change impacts and performance

  • Problem and escalation management in line with SLA’s

The ideal candidate with be a ‘Change Manager’, someone who see ‘Change’ as a clearly defined role within an organisation and not something done as part of a wider more diverse service delivery position.  Therefore Service Delivery Managers who have influenced change or be a part of change will only be considered if ‘Change Management’ made up the lion's share of their role.
