In order to maintain their number one market position,  they are driving innovation by using emerging technologies to deliver future proof cloud / mobile products for their customers, most notably 95% of the largest retailers in the UK. 

Using technology platforms that integrate with IOT devices, they are using AI and Big Data to deliver insights, operational efficiencies, higher degrees of safety and cost reduction, which offers an enormous benefit for many large household retail brands and of course the end customer. 

Delivering integrated technology platforms related to supply chain, logistics and distribution,  including advanced telematics and fleet control, the investment being made in new product development is mind-boggling. With multiple roles available at differing levels, our client works Agile / Scrum and is looking for new people to enahnce their teams. As such we’re looking for a Solutions Architect. They don’t expect new hires to come with all the answers but they are looking for someone who has a proven ability to coach technical performance within a team and across muli discipline agile teamms. Setting technical objectives and measuring progress. As a business they have a well established, exceptional learning and development environment, with solid career trajectories which means that they have low attrition rates and a very stable and engaged workforce. So do you have?

  • Proven abilities in coaching technical performance within a team and across a business, setting technical objectives and measuring progress etc.
  • Experience defining and describing an architecture of a system 
  • Highlighting training requirements within a multi discipline agile team
  • Technical domain design skills
  • Technical debt identification and pay down
  • Strong communication skills for internal and external stakeholders
  • Advocate and leadership of design review
  • Technical evangelism
  • Able to implement patterns of enterprise architecture
  • Working with architecture focussed road maps
